| Customer Reviews: The Best "Burpies" for my Baby September 24, 2009 Kelly Morris (Sunny California) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am so bummed to hear that the other reviewers hated these burp clothes so much. We love these "Burpies" (as we call them in my family). They are light weight and very thin; this was a downside to the other reviewers but I think this is the best part. I am able to cram (with love of course) this cloth under my baby's chin and it catches every drop. I think they are very absorbent for their thickness and weight; they are terrycloth but not as thick as a towel. I also like the size of these cloths; they are big enough to cover my baby's chest and rap around his neck like a bib would. My little guy loves them so much he holds them like they are mini security blankets, so cute. Another good thing is that they come in a pack of 6.
Really more like 3.5 stars... December 15, 2009 Heather R. Panabaker (England) I tend to be in the middle of these previous reviews...while they were on the thin side and unraveling after a few washes, I too liked being able to fit them under my babies chins. The twins love grabbing onto them and they are slightly soft. I have some thicker ones and while a bit softer and more durable, they are almost impossible to fit under little chins to catch all that spillage...good luck!
You get what you pay for! August 12, 2009 Jenny (NJ) These are kind of crappy and don't absorb much of the liquid my baby spits out during a feeding or when I burp him.
Do not spend your money on these April 14, 2006 NNA72 (Florida) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These are the least absorbant and thin burp cloths I have found. I think it is because they have some polyester in them. I would stick with something considerably more substantial and thick (terry cloth burp cloths work great!).
